Sonoma and Napa are always a good idea, even when it’s raining! One of my all time favorite donut shops is there and you can’t go wrong with wine tasting. As I was looking back on photos though from this rainy day in Sonoma, it made me so sad to think about all the destruction that has occurred since then. Just because the fires have been put out in Sonoma doesn’t mean there isn’t work to be done and help still needed. And with the recent LA fires all over the news I wanted to share a few ways you can help out both LA and Sonoma County.
-Ways to help and donate on the Red Cross
-Donate to different GoFundMe campaigns
-Help the local Sonoma Humane Society
–The Salvation Army is accepting food and water donations at the venture fairgrounds.
-The Humane Society of Ventura County is accepting donations of Alfalfa hay, Timothy hay, cat chow, rabbit food, flashlights, headlamps, lanterns, water troughs, bottled water, fruit, snacks, hoses, and power generators. You can drop any of this off at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai
-Make a donation to Red Cross.
These are just a few ways you can do something to help! The holidays are a special time to spend with loved ones at home and so many people have lost their homes and loved ones. If you have a minute or a spare dollar do what you can to help! If you can’t donate money head to One Good Deed a Day to get some inspiration on other ways to give back. Sending my love to Napa and LA always.
