Peanut Butter Pumpkin Blossoms

November 2, 2019

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Blossoms

It’s no secret that my favorite combination is chocolate and peanut butter. So when Halloween rolls around you can bet I’m scarfing down Pumpkin shaped Reese’s like it’s my job. There is something about the Reese’s during the holidays that is just so much better. I think it’s something to do with the peanut butter to chocolate ratio. Well if you’re wondering what to do with your kids extra Halloween candy this is just that. These peanut butter pumpkin blossoms are super easy to make and allow your kids to take part in a fun family activity instead of just getting an instant sugar high from finishing their candy that night…

And since it is for Halloween just consider this a dressed-up version of the classic peanut butter cookie, you’ll find that adding sweet candy to this salty cookie goodness creates peanut butter pumpkin blossom cookies, a match made in baking heaven.

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Blossoms Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup butter, softened

2 eggs

3 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

A bag of Pumpkin shaped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Instructions:

-Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter and eggs until creamy.

-Stir in flour, baking soda, and baking powder.

-Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Then use a cup to flatten the cookie dough balls.

-Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately press 1 Reese’s candy in the center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet and let cool (if you have it in you).

Hi, I’m Kelly!

When I became a mom I completely lost myself. I was exhausted and anxious and knew that I could be more than just a tired mama. Now I've built a life I'm proud of as a stay at home mom. I want to show tired mamas that you don't have to choose between yourself and your kids. You can build a life you're proud of too!
