Morning Routine

I was never a morning person. But once I had my son Ford, I would be so tired by the end of the day that it was impossible to accomplish anything. So I started training myself to wake up a little bit earlier every day. Now, most mornings, I’m able to wake up pretty early. I like to wake up before everyone in our house and have my me-time or get a few things done before the chaos begins!

I wrote down a simplified version of my morning routine below, but you can watch the condensed version I created on reels too!

Morning Routine

Here is my morning routine:

6-6:15 am

wake up

let saint out to go potty

drink my jug of lemon water

diffuse essential oils

word search or gratitude journal

10 minute workout (this happens maybe every two weeks)


water my plants

make breakfast for mom and dad (oatmeal for dad and cereal for mom)

take multivitamins


ford wakes up

feed him his bottle

make coffee for mom and dad

hang out as a family til Brock has to go to work


package orders from the night before

answer a few emails

reheat my coffee

That’s about it! My Morning Routine is a bit different every day. Sometimes Brock will let me sleep in and get up with him or I’ll use that time to shower and get ready! Sometimes I’ll work out or work on whatever I need to get done that’s urgent. Either way, while I used to be a night owl, I now can’t wait to wake up in the morning and get that time to myself! It makes me feel human again 🙂
