Morning Coffee With Keke – My Goals
2019 has been anything but expected. The past few months have been rough, to say the least, and it’s been hard to find the motivation to blog, let alone do much of anything. But I’m turning a new leaf. Going into 2019 I had lots of dreams in mind for this year and although I may have gotten a slow start I’m ready to start turning those dreams into goals and knocking them out. Here are a few things I am working towards for my blog:
- Consistency. This has been the hardest thing for me when it comes to blogging which is actually odd since I am a big planner and like to have things mapped out. For some reason or another though I struggle to consistently post to my blog and social media. I do crave breaks every now and then, but a huge goal of mine is to start scheduling more posts and have content for you at least 2 or 3 times a week.
- Connection. I feel like I have been so disconnected from my blog and my followers because I just haven’t been showing up. I want to change that. I want to engage and connect with all of you and truly work on forming relationships through this platform.
- Big Projects. When I started my blog it really was just for fun but then it became about so much more for me. It was a place for me to express myself creatively and to help other people. I want to continue to help other people and not just by writing but by doing bigger things with this platform. I have a few big projects I’ve been dreaming of doing with Donuts and Daisies and this year I’m going to be working really hard to get them off the ground.
I know life can get crazy and complicated and we can sometimes feel like giving up on things but I’m ready to kick my butt into gear and start getting Donuts and Daisies to where I want it to be. Read more about why I started this blog and what I want from it here! What are some goals you’re working towards?

It’s funny cause I could’ve written these goals. I know exactly how that feels. I love the idea of blogging consistently and connecting more with followers, but sometimes I would go months without blogging! Sometimes there’s just to much going on with our personal life and for me, I lost a lot of the motivation. I’m trying to get back to it though, slowly but surely. Good luck to us!

Loved this post! A goal that I’m working on/brainstorming is my first e-book. I hope to get it out within the next three or so months!

Can’t believe it’s already March! Me too, trying to maintain consistency in my blog and working those big goals!

We’re both totally struggling with consistency. And yeah, our connection to our readers suffers as a result. Let’s both change that soon! 🙂
