Gifts that Give Back

When I took an Instagram poll a few weeks ago I was blown away by the number of people that wanted to see blog posts on how to give back this holiday season. I did a post similar to this in past years but it’s honestly the best way to give gifts during the holidays so I’ll probably continue to do it every year! This post is all about highlighting a few amazing companies who love to give back but who also have seriously amazing products. Not only are you giving a gift to someone you love but you’re also giving back to someone in need by purchasing one of these items. I think that’s something we can all get on board with!

Here you can take a look at some of my favorite gifts that give back and how they benefit others!

1. A Doll

This adorable doll from Cuddle + Kind is not only cute but one doll provides meals for TWENTY children in North America and around the world! This is a gift I know my niece and other little girls would love to open.

2. A Candle

The Little Market never ceases to amaze me. I fell in love with their candles at first then discovered they were way more than just a candle company. They are a fair trade company that has everything from self-care products to kitchen supplies and decor to reusable shopping bags and throw blankets. The Little Market empowers women artisans all around the world and I should also mention that everything they sell is friggin adorable!

3. A Waterbottle

S’well was born with the mission to rid the world of plastic water bottles! S’well is also a partner of UNICEF, committing $800,000 since 2015 to help provide clean and safe water to the world’s most vulnerable communities. Their bottles have the cutest designs and I love that you can fit a whole bottle of wine in there if you wanted to 😉

These wireless earbuds from LSTN Sound Co. are perfect for work and the gym and for every pair sold, the proceeds go towards giving hearing aids to people in need worldwide via their charity partner, Starkey Hearing Foundation. Doesn’t that just sound like the ultimate gift?

5. Shoes

For every pair of TOM’s sold they give a new pair of shoes to children in need!! To date, TOMS has given more than 86 MILLION pairs of new shoes to children in need! The make comfortable slip ons but also super cute wedges that are an awesome gift for a stylish friend!

For your girlfriends or sisters, jewelry is always a great idea! Dainty pieces are my favorite gifts because they never go out of style and they dress up all of your outfits just in time for those Holiday parties! 31 bits is an amazing jewelry company that creates opportunities for women all over the world. 7. My Kindness Calendar

My Kindness Advent Calendar is a new Christmas tradition for every family who wants to focus on giving this holiday season. 8. Donation

Sometimes a great gift can simply be making a donation in someone’s name.
