The heatwave is pretty much over and I am so ready for fall baking to commence! I always love anything with chocolate and peanut butter in the fall season. And these salty and gooey Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies are pretty much the best thing you’ll ever lay your hands on. I am obsessed with them because they are not quite as sweet as your average chocolate chip cookie but they melt in your mouth and go perfect with a cold glass of milk!
Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks
Sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
-In a large bowl beat the butter for 2 minutes or until light and fluffy. Add the peanut butter and both sugars and mix for 2 more minutes. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until combined.
-Slowly add the flour and baking soda until just combined. Fold in both of the chocolate chips.
-Using a large cookie scoop, scoop the dough on the parchment paper-lined baking sheets and sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 11-12 minutes or until lightly browned on the edges. Transfer to a wire rack and let cool completely. Serve with a cold glass of milk 🙂
I hope you guys enjoy eating these cookies as much as I do. And I hope it’s cooling off wherever you are so that you can get that oven cranked up! If you love anything chocolate and peanut butter, you will for sure love these peanut butter marshmallow cookies too!
