Caramel Kahlua Eggnog

Dec 11, 2017

I have never gotten into eggnog, wasn’t really sure what al the hype was about. It just kinda grossed me out. I wanted to be able to work my way into liking it so I tried to create a recipe that combined a few of my favorite things with eggnog, to be honest I was kinda winging it. But the end result: a seriously delicious holiday cocktail. I am a huge fan of caramel kahlua eggnog now and will absolutely be having it every holiday season. You can find the yummy recipe below and if you like this recipe I’m sure you’ll love my maple bourbon apple cider too!

Caramel Kahlua Eggnog Recipe

-4 oz eggnog (I used Bud’s SF)

-1 oz dark rum

-1 oz Kahlua

-Caramel to garnish

-1 cup heavy whipping cream

-2 tablespoons sugar

-Add salted caramel to outer rim of mug to garnish.

-Mix together the kahlua, eggnog, and dark rum.

-For the whipped cream, place bowl and whisk in freezer for at least 20 minutes to chill.

-Whisk together sugar and heavy whipping cream on high speed until medium to stiff peaks form, about 1 minute.

I hope you guys enjoy this tasty caramel kahlua eggnog recipe as much as I do! What are some of your favorite holiday cocktails?!
