Autumn Harvest Dinner
I’m a day late and a dollar short here, but finally getting around to posting my Friendsgiving setup. I kept the decor super simple and rustic with a few pops of orange. I highlighted the set up with a meaningful sign from Etsy. It read: Autumn; the season to find contentment at home by paying attention to what you have. I love this quote for Thanksgiving time because even though it’s when we are supposed to be the most grateful, the craziness of Black Friday and holiday shopping makes us have other priorities. Hosting an Autumn Harvest dinner is a great way to get your good friends together and celebrate your relationships. It’s a time to be grateful for everyone you’re surrounded by.
This year I had a few friends over and we had your traditional Friendsgiving meal with turkey, green bean casserole and mashed potatoes! For dessert, we had a few of my favorites pumpkin spice cake, pecan pie, and Autumn Harvest sugar cookies. You can find the pumpkin spice cake recipe from last years Friendsgiving post.
I hope you guys had a great Thanksgiving and enjoyed your time with family and friends! Let me know what you’re favorite Thanksgiving meal was in the comments below!

What a lovely setting! I love the idea of a friendsgiving – especially for those of us without close family nearby. The flowers on your table are really gorgeous!
