Self-care is so important but even so, a lot of people have a hard time taking time for themselves. There is this guilt that sometimes comes with it, like maybe you’re being selfish for bailing on dinner with your friends or my kids might be asleep but I should be getting their lunches ready for tomorrow. Even though there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON we should feel guilty, some of us still do. No matter our thought process it is key that you take time to pamper yourself a little and these three amazing companies make it so much easier to do so. Not only do they give you amazing products to pamper yourself with but they also do their part to give back. So while you’re soaking in the tub taking care of yourself, your purchase also helped out someone else.

Here are my favorite 3 Self Care Brands that give back in some way or another.

  1. Goop– For starters Goop uses all organic ingredients which is great for your body. Goop is also dedicated to raising awareness and donating a portion of their profits to great causes. Each organization they give back to has made a valuable difference in the fields of education, nutrition, and general wellbeing for children. And I mean who doesn’t love Gweneth Paltrow?
  2. The Little Market– I’ve been blogging about the little market for a while now and for good reason. I fell in love with their candles at first then discovered they were way more than just a candle company. They are a fair trade company that has everything from self-care products to kitchen supplies and decor to reusable shopping bags and throw blankets. The Little Market empowers women artisans all around the world and I should also mention that everything they sell is friggin adorable!
  3. Anderson Lilley– I am a sucker for a great smelling candle, I have them lit around my house constantly. Not only does this company have amazing smelling candles, but they also do a whole lot of giving back. They donate a full 10% of net profit to five charities annually.

We believe in good, we believe in light.

We believe that each one of us has the power to make an impact, every day.

This quote from their website really resonates with me and I wholeheartedly believe in it. I do think that in order to make an impact though we have to start with taking care of ourselves. Take time for yourself and you’ll be able to do a heck of a lot more for everyone else. Hopefully you like these 3 Self Care Brands that Give Back and feel free to check out my One Good Deed A Day post for more ideas on how to do a little something for someone else!

Thank you so much for sharing! I’ve started adding self-care time to my daily to do list. Whether it’s reading or relaxing with a facial scrub, I’ve learned how much better I feel when I take care of myself. My mom is the primary caretaker for my grandmother and I’ve been trying to encourage her to take care of herself too. You can’t take care of others if you don’t take care of yourself!

I’ve been using Goop for years. I will have to check out The Little Market and Anderson Lilley. I love that they give back. The fact that The Little Market is a fair trade company makes it even better! Can’t wait to check them out. Thank you so much for sharing!

  4. Thanks for sharing! Great to learn more about companies that offer contributions to the community!

  5. I adore knowing my dollars are going to do some good. Time to pick up products that take care of me and those in need.
